Certified Natural and Organic OPC Extract is a highly concentrated natural extract with a minimum of 90% Polyphenols, including Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins (OPCs) and Flavonoids, which are the potent water-soluble free radical scavenging compounds found in Grape Seeds and Pine Bark. A growing body of research indicates that OPCs may help to support the health of vascular, bone, kidney, brain
and other tissues by supporting a healthy, balanced immune response to oxidative and metabolic stress.

Among the many benefits that may be attributed to flavonoids are reduced risk of cancer, heart disease, asthma, and stroke and they play a special role in protecting the brain.
Flavonoids, like other antioxidants, do their work in the body by corralling cell-damaging free radicals and metallic ions. The beneficial effect of the product appears to be largely due to the antioxidant effects of oligomeric proanthocyanidins and flavonoids on aging mitochondria. Mitochondria are the primary energy-producing components of cells.
Flavonoids exert their anti-oxidant activity through donating electrons, thereby quenching free-radicals at a cellular level. Flavonoids can protect cells from different insults that lead to mitochondria-mediated cell damage. The mitochondria is a key participant in the life- supporting function of ATP synthesis (Adenosine Triphosphate synthesis).

HOW TO USE IT :
Take one capsule twice a day – preferably with meals. Do not eat the moisture absorption packet. Enclosed in the bottle natural colour variation may occur in this product. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.

WHEN TO USE IT :
It is suitable for everyday use for people of all ages above the age of 10 years. Younger people may take a reduced amount but should first consult with a doctor.
